One of the goals of the SSP Core is to generate collaborative research across disciplines. Combining innovations across disciplines offers the possibility of advancing research within each discipline. Grant proposals can be strengthened by adding expertise in a related discipline and the SSP Core can help secure that expertise by offering referrals to researchers in other disciplines.
